Bible Setting: Genesis 6–9
The story of The Flood begins in a world that had lost its way. People were hurting each other, ignoring God, and choosing selfishness instead of kindness. The Bible says the earth was filled with violence, and it broke God’s heart to see His children treating each other so poorly.
But there was one bright spot: Noah, a man who still listened to God. God told Noah that a great flood was coming—a flood that would wash away the evil that had taken over the world. It wasn’t meant to destroy people just to punish them. It was meant to reset the world, giving humanity a new chance to choose goodness.
Noah built a giant ark, and when the rain came, it poured for forty days and forty nights. Water covered everything. But inside the ark, Noah, his family, and all the animals were safe. God protected them because they trusted Him.
When the flood finally ended, the earth was quiet and clean again. Noah stepped out onto fresh ground, and the first thing he did was thank God. Then God made a special promise—a covenant. He placed a rainbow in the sky as a sign that He would never again flood the whole earth. The rainbow reminds us of God’s love, mercy, and patience with His children.
The Flood teaches kids that while the world can sometimes go wrong, God always provides a way forward. It reminds us that choosing kindness, honesty, and faith can make the world a better place.

In The Good Fight card game, the Noah card helps children understand that sometimes God clears away the bad so the good can grow stronger. It shows families that new beginnings are always possible when we turn toward the light.
