Alma taught that the Savior would suffer every pain and temptation so He could know how to help His people perfectly.

For these ancient families, the coming Messiah wasn’t a distant idea. It was the anchor of their hope—their reason to repent, their strength in trials, and the foundation of every covenant they made.
