JOB — The Man Who Trusted God Through Hard Times

Bible Setting: Job 1–42

Job lived in the land of Uz and was known as a good, honest man who loved God. He cared for his family, helped the poor, and tried to do what was right every day. Job had many blessings—lots of animals, a large family, and great respect from others.

But one day, Job’s life changed suddenly. He lost his animals, his wealth, and even his children. Then he became very sick and covered in painful sores.

Even though Job didn’t understand why these things happened, he didn’t turn away from God.

His friends told him he must have done something wrong, but Job kept saying the same thing: “I don’t understand this, but I know God is still good.” Job talked honestly with God about his pain, his questions, and his sadness.

In the middle of Job’s suffering, God reminded him of something important—God is always in control, even when life feels confusing or unfair. Job humbled himself and trusted God again with a peaceful heart. In the end, God healed Job, blessed him even more than before, and restored joy to his life.

Job teaches kids that hard times don’t mean God has left us. We all face storms, but God is with us through every question, tear, and fear. Job shows that faith grows strongest when life is hardest.
