Bible Setting: Isaiah 1–66
Isaiah lived during a time when God’s people were struggling with sin, confusion, and fear. Many had turned away from God, but He sent Isaiah to remind them of the truth. Isaiah wasn’t just a messenger—he was a prophet who saw powerful visions and spoke some of the most important promises in the entire Bible.
One of the greatest moments in Isaiah’s life happened when he saw a vision of God’s throne. Angels filled the temple, singing, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord!” Isaiah felt unworthy, but God forgave him and called him to speak for Him. Isaiah answered, “Here am I. Send me!”
Throughout his ministry, Isaiah warned the people to turn away from idols and return to God. But he also gave messages of deep comfort. He told them that God would send a Suffering Servant who would take on the sins of the world. Isaiah said that a child would be born—one called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah painted pictures of hope:
A wolf living with a lamb.
A world filled with peace.
A day when God would wipe away tears.
He reminded the people that God’s love is stronger than their failures.
Isaiah teaches kids that God is holy, mighty, and full of love, and that He has a plan to save and heal the world. His prophecies point to Jesus and remind us that God always keeps His promises.
Isaiah represents hope, prophecy, and God’s unstoppable truth. When kids hear his story, they learn that trusting God’s promises fills them with strength and courage for every battle.
