Bible Setting: Genesis 1–3
In the very first pages of the Bible, we meet Adam, the first man God ever created. His story takes place in the Garden of Eden, a beautiful place filled with trees, rivers, animals, and every good thing you can imagine.
Adam didn’t just live in the garden—he worked in it. God asked him to take care of the plants, name the animals, and learn how to be responsible and brave.
Adam’s life teaches us something important: God made people on purpose and with a purpose. Adam wasn’t an accident. You aren’t either. Adam shows kids that God wants each of us to learn, grow, and make choices that lead us toward goodness.
Even though Adam made mistakes—and big ones—his story reminds us that God still loves us, still teaches us, and still gives us chances to try again. Parents can use Adam’s story to help kids understand that learning right from wrong is part of growing up, and God is patient while we figure things out.

In The Good Fight card game, Adam teaches children that every hero starts with simple beginnings, and that doing what’s right—even when it’s hard—is the first step of becoming strong and faithful.
When kids play with the Adam & Eve card, they learn about responsibility, choices, and the courage it takes to follow God’s guidance.
